Mr. Suresh Advani, Chairman, is Lead Portfolio Manager responsible for all GML trade finance investment funds having joined the company in 2005. He will also act as CEO of Eastern and Southern African Trade Advisers Limited. Mr. Advani has spent his entire career in trade finance and credit insurance, having first joined The Chase Manhattan Bank in London, followed by senior positions at Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein, Jardine Lloyd Thompson Risk Solutions, and Exporters Insurance Company Limited. In 2014 he was appointed Senior Technical Advisor to the International Chamber of Commerce Banking Commission. He read Philosophy, Politics and Economics at Oxford University.

Mr. George Mudange is Chief Trade Finance Officer & Senior Director - Trade Finance of PTA Bank and has over 19 years corporate banking and advisory experience at senior levels with distinct emphasis on structured trade and commodity finance. He will act as Deputy CEO of Eastern and Southern African Trade Advisers Limited. Prior to joining the Bank, he worked with merchant banks in Zimbabwe and advisory firms in South Africa and Nigeria. He holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in Economics and an MBA, both from the University of Zimbabwe.

Mr. Admassu Tadesse

is the President and Chief Executive of the Eastern and Southern African Trade and Development Bank (PTA Bank). Prior to his appointment as President of PTA Bank in 2011, Mr. Tadesse served for 10 years with Development Bank of South Africa as EVP responsible for international finance and corporate strategy. He has also served in various capacities in international institutions and funds, mainly in Johannesburg and New York. He has served and continues to serve on several boards of directors, and is a member of the Institute of Bankers and Institute of Directors, South Africa. Mr. Tadesse holds an MSc from the London School of Economics, an MBA from Wits Business School, and trained at Harvard and INSEAD Business School in banking, private equity and executive leadership.

Mr. Goodman Chakanyuka is Director, Compliance & Risk at PTA Bank and has over 18 years of experience in commercial banking across Southern Africa. Prior to joining the Bank, he was the Chief Risk Officer at Nedbank (Swaziland) for 8 years and held senior positions with Kingdom Bank and Afreximbank. Mr. Chakanyuka holds a BSc in Economics and an MBA from the University of Zimbabwe. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (ICSA).

Ms. Antonina Kayitesi is a Senior Finance Officer of PTA Bank and has 15 years’ experience, specialising in finance, accounting, auditing and grants management. Previously, she has held senior positions as the Chief Finance Officer of Ecobank Rwanda, as Country Director of US based Women for Women International and has also worked as an Auditor for Ernst & Young Kenya. Ms. Kayitesi is a Chartered Accountant and holds a B.Comm from Catholic University of Eastern Africa and an MBA from Edinburgh Business School.

Mr. Stefan Pinter is a Founding Partner, CEO and CIO of GML Capital. Having joined GML in 1990 as a Principal, Mr. Pinter has overall responsibility for GML’s investment management and advisory activities. Mr. Pinter began his career at Kidder Peabody in New York (international corporate finance) and then with Kidder Peabody in London (international capital markets). He holds a B.A. in Economics cum laude from Harvard University.
